I'm talking about volume not volatility, when I say "Price can rise without volume" I'm talking in a relative manner not literal, I should have said price can rise on low volume, volumes don't have to be high for price to rise. Just think about the depth queue, if there are few shares for sale (a situation called No Supply) then price rises through the rungs of the queue very easily.
