The ocean becomes more acidic with co2 added. Carbonic acid from memory.
I wonder what the numbers would be re production of ch4 using blue green algae vs co2 produced on death of the algae, and how long the blue green algae would last and keep producing.. would the final co2 degradation be massively outweighed by the methane production..
