People buy vege based products for reasons other than taste,among them,a fairer more compassionate worldYou can't expect a non meat product to taste great after you have been a meat eater all your life.If you persevere and become better at cooking plant based meat you will most likely change your opinion over time.
The plant based products are for marketing.If you see a product that looks like what you're used to eating it's not such a leap to try it.
