What stood out for me was the following sentence.
"Trap shape and size are the remaining risks given the current 2D seismic control. The possibility exists that unimaged faults may compartmentalise the larger field into smaller blocks."
I was always a little concerned about siting a drill hole on 2D only. The difference in clarity on the image is quite striking. Whilst the comments about the 3D at Trieste are certainly further supportive of a potentially good target; its the unimaged faults, structures that would seem to be the biggest concern. This is a very important drill hole which, if successful, will open up the southern areas and add significantly to resource base and hopefully share price. I would certainly be a lot more comfortable with 3D over Strike's southern area but I also appreciate the extra difficulties in time-frames, access for a 3D survey to be undertaken etc. Roll the dice and hope the 61% side comes up.
