I can't believe this rant got any likes.
The green revolution is coming whether you like it or not, and um seriously, love the reference to stupidity of the greenies, lefties, pension funds, the banks and big business, "who are destroying the economy".
No reference to the stupidly of those that fail to see that it is now driven by economics. ie cost to generate electricity. I won't tell you who wins that as possibly you'll broaden your reading to try and find out yourself.
And I didn't know the objective was to eradicate fossil fuels. I thought it was to reduce them ... a target you may have heard "50% reduction by 2050" or similar, contains the word reduce.

And your story of carrying diesel because you haven't had sun for 12 days has all the n=1 simplification of a Donald Trump story... because this 1 thing happened to you then it must apply to the rest of the world huh. Everybody all across the wind strewn, sun baked globe is experiencing the same, rendering renewables completely redundant hereafter because it happened to you. And I am sure your 12 days without sun is a regular occurrence right, must happen all the time in Australia huh?!
I own Santos because it's undervalued, but I am under no illusion that the economics of oil will remain the same into the future
