You have turned a small business concept into a silly rule that you should not apply across the board, especially to the most successful companies.
Ever heard of BHP ? Biggest miner in the world. CBA ? CSL ? Look at the Top 10 Aust Companies by market cap... all pay dividends. Why ? Because they are mature well run and profitable companies !
As a shareholder, I want my dividend returns. If you don't want them, invest elsewhere !!
