This stock is too solid to mess about with IMO, sold down some sdg to participate.

Pennywise and pound foolish.

Acc from 80c and will disreguard short term price movements while taders cash in short term. Good luck to them they have different objectives.

If you have nothing better to read I posted this on the MBN forum but same applies to AGO.

I much prefer to choose commodity plays with well run low cost producers rather than run with large monopoly types eg. Rio Bhp.

Advantages.

1/Holdings in each commodity easily traded.

2/Better Value available.

3/Not reliant on world GDP for growth.

4/Feeling of in control/achievement of my investments

5/Less chance of short selling.

6/takeover opportunities or JV/merger from larger Players

Disadvantages.

1/The mob will run with the big boys.

2/Insto's may not have the independent plays on their list.


MBN is my only pure nickel play and the fundamentals will look after the SP.

I leave the trading to inferior stocks using charts etc. to fund my whisky and fags habit.
I expect a pump and dump when ANN for production arrives but
I won't be tempted. I've noticed the market is patient now for buy on rumour theme to buy good value.

MBN are in my conviction box. At least until the fundamentals tell me value has deteriorated.(5to6 bucks atm)

Finally I buy more shares than I intend to keep just to fund the never ending cap raisings offered.
