Charts are used to predict short term sentiment in the future based on short term sentiment in the past. they take account nothing directly except price and volume, so how could it be otherwise. Charts arent going to tell you if a drill bit is going to stike hard or be a duster, lol, which is what drives sharp deviations and long term trends in the price of mining companies
