Your query prompted me to again revisit the description of the bullish 'cup and handle' formation. IMO it's important to compare AOE's price action to the models provided since it suggests where the price may head near term & longer term:

IMO there are some powerful forces at work atm which may affect AOE's share price:
. IMO AOE is a great story & has an exciting future.
. Friday's announcement by Shell appears to have caused AOE's price to surge & may continue to be influential.
. Faber, Prechter, Greenspan etal are again making negative public statements re the GFC [in the past such calls have marked the start of bearish retraces].
. The Energy sector has run very hard for some 3-4 months now.
. AOE may be experiencing some short term profit-taking.
. AOE can only get so far ahead of 'the pack' before they start to look cheap by comparison - IMO this can be seen by the rocketing prices for small energy players such as CVN.
IMO it's also worth noting the various double tops, double bottoms, Elliott waves etc. as mentioned in earlier posts since they are also suggestive as to future price action.
