Scratching the surface of salt.....

I found these snippets of outlook for the salt market in Australia



Seems there is money to be made in salt. The figure shows values in USD. Ideally capturing a percentage of this market looks like a good idea.

"The NOSSP is adjacent to an existing solar salt project that has been successfully operated by Mitsui and Co for 20
years with a production capacity of 2.7 million tonnes and also BCI Minerals Limited’s Mardie Salt & Potash Project,
a potential Tier 1 project located on the West Pilbara coast in the centre of Australia's key salt production region"

If mitsui and co have been running a project like this for 20 years, its bound to be profitable!. A good acquisition. Its different, but does look like it could make money.
