The bit I don't get, if it is algos, is why the share price shoots up overseas first, before the ASX.
I don't know enough around charting and algos to have an informed conversation with you about your position on the matter.
But it seems strange that it is happening overseas first (irrespective of what the driver is behind the SP rises).
