Sorry to be so slow in replying, I’ve not be online a great deal. @cha, my Dad was keen on photography from a young age and he took quite a few during his RAAF career including some that may interest you, eg a captured Japanese Zero at Hollandia in PNG and another one at Aitape, which, of course, is infamous in the history of M division. He also found a couple of photos of Japanese soldiers. @BiggDaddy, what a wonderful face! I’ve seen some of those pics at the AWM. My Dad was one of seven kids living in Sydney during the Depression and he always said that when he joined up it was great, because for the first time in his life he was eating three meals a day Life was hard, as the eldest boy he left school at 14 to go to work to help put food on the table. But he was a smart kid, and flourished once he was given a chance in the RAAF. A different world to be sure, but enough of my ramblings. Cheers h
