So Fund manager and his other funds have interests in other listed projects that need cash?. Hmm - wonder where that cash will come from. Hmm I guess if it was YOW then you gets interest but his other fund gets the shares funded and gain from scope to mine. Meanwhile game of takeover and court cases frustrating minor holders continues elsewhere . Well it is a investment style and model I guess.

Meanwhile awaiting quarterly to see if the business is actually performing.. Watch for the uptick at end of each period as some funds do valuation on last bid not last sale price so easily manipulated IMO

Guess what I am saying is that with small numbers you may make pips but unless there is a pump it may be a easy trap to fall into believing you can exit a position of size . The bid and offer are controlled by major holder interests IMO. They can swing it and keep it in range regardless of underlying business performance as minority holders can't move market .

I have never said you can't make money but when posters have explained their reason for investing and it often revolves around value of underlying choccy business I make the points as you have seen. If you are having a punt on Bolton et al and a tide lifting all ships I hope you get the timing right and have time as hard to predict just what they are up to with their multiple entities, investments and cross holdings. I see all those as a defensive structure and not IMO for the benefit of minority holders. Fund manager et all are all getting fees and as directors etc etc etc all paid from multiple companies ( you go add em all up) and administration for a large total so they are getting paid good $ IMO. Shareholders are paying them .

NTA - Well funds managed are trading at a discount representing the, liquidity , possible return and risk.. If the owners of the fund think NTA is so undervalued then they would be buying with ears pinned back .

It is a good discussion and hopefully the parts fleshed out will educate some newbies as to just what is going on with this structure and underlying business so they don't get sucked in only looking at one factor thinking they have found the undervalued motherlode from NTA scan or technically think it is a breakout opportunity when all the tension is controlled IMO major holders. .
