Is ‘AKIDO’ Japanese for the Greek word ‘AKIDA’.

At least they did not use ‘Braino’ chip.

But no doubt compared with that other rag they did a sterling job.

The one observation I would make is how easy it is to keep things a secret from market analysts.

On 23 December, 2020 Brainchip announced the signing of the unconditional IP licence agreement with Renesas (No. 3 supplier to Automotive Industry) and then by not mentioning Renesas (by name) again despite confirming in January 4C that revenue was received from the IP licence industry analysts have been fooled into believing the only possible income will come via the sale of AKD1000 chips.

This is despite the fact that Brainchip has stated time and time again they are pursuing an IP licensing model.

If Brainchip had run this cunning plan by me at the start I would have said no way it will never work. I might even have asked if they were fans of Baldrick from Blackadder. But it has worked, so good thing they did not ask me.
