But again if that were true wouldn't there be a direct correlation of increased palladium and platinum with increased nickel grade? Doesn't look to be the case. And from CHN's metallurgy announcement (16-4-21):

"Further QEMSCAN analysis was completed on several composites which has identified eleven PGE minerals to date: kotulskite, michenerite, stibiopalladinite, ungavaite, mertieite, palarstanide, palladoarsenide,menshikovite, paolovite, sperrylite and native platinum. Kotulskite is the most abundant PGE mineral in the G1-3 zones, while michenerite is the most abundant PGE mineral in the G4 zone".

Those are all PGE sulphides. No mention of the PGE metals being tied up in the pentlandite (i.e. nickel sulphide).
