If I was an etrade user and this had happened to me, I would demand a personal apology from the company along with a suitable compensation, like say maybe 10 or more free trades, or a bonues interest rate in my cash account or some sweetener to stop me from leaving along with an assurance that this will not happen again and the steps to rectify the problem outlined.
