What amuses me the most on these forums in general are all the people pontificating wildly about how the share price in a given company is going to soar to ridiculous levels in a short period of time. The last one was ChinaSyndrome claiming that Pensana would close over two pounds on the day the business plan summary (not the full business plan, just the summary) was released. (as in, the plan was released, and they made the claim on that same day.)

Instead, it's dropped significantly - from £1.80 just before the release to around £1.50 now. The market didn't take kindly to what was in it, in other words.

Rose coloured glasses are fantastic, but you have to keep a level head in this game. I've decided to cash out of Pensana - it's done well for me, and I wish them well for the future, but I don't think it's going to get anywhere near the level of rise in the short term that some people are claiming. Plus I need the cash for other things. Peak? I'm realistic enough to acknowledge that the SML is the number one concern here, and that it needs to be granted soon, else the share price will tank. That one thing is literally the only thing that stands between a tanking share price, and a rocketing one; for all that I've just ragged on people claiming prices will soar, I cannot see any reason why Peak would not jump significantly if the SML is announced.

Hopefully very soon. Fingers crossed. (And note that I very much do not believe that for Peak to succeed, others must fail - there's room enough in the market for more than one non-Chinese company in the rare earth space.)
