pretty sure it wouldn’t come to an EGM. If management had any sense they would address shareholder concerns before it got to that. They read hotcopper too and should be fully aware of shareholder concerns. If they aren’t then that is poor management regardless. Would be very embarrassing for management if an EGM is called and agree it would be bad for the share price but that is the price directors pay for not listening or communicating to shareholders, they are masters of their own destiny. IMO it shouldn’t be hard to perform and please when you have assets like UMC.
Not fussed either way but an announcement regarding the company’s strategy and few drill results for good measure would probably shut everyone up and give everybody something else to talk about.....hopefully the talk is about UMC’s latest discovery at Fork North.
