It could be your style of making long term investment using TA. For me, I use TA (both short term and long term) to make short term decision (i.e. entry and exit) and use mostly for trading not investing. FA comes first before making decision and I use TA to find an entry price for all my long term decisions. May be you are saying the same thing.
