Mining (ASX:BOM) has started uranium exploration at Murphy project,
Northern Territory.
The project is prospective for high grade basement
unconformity-style uranium mineralisation.
The project is subject to a letter of agreement with Japan Oil,
Gas and Metals, wherein that company can earn a 51 per cent undivided
interest in the project by funding $3 million in exploration over four
years.
The airborne magnetic and radiometric survey of 64,000 line
kilometres has commenced on the western half and first drilling will
start in June on four high priority targets.
