To me it seems strange that India is singled out when the USA and a number of other countries pro rata has more cases and deaths than India, but Australia went out of its way to get our citizens back from those other countries. Do we have more than one class of citizen in Australia. The CMO has conceded that Australians in India are likely to die if not returned here.
Naturally if the govt considers that our quarantine system is hopeless well they are responsible for it. On the other hand I have heard Morrison, Hunt and others say our quarantine system is top class. So why is India being singled out. Anybody able to tell us why Australians in China, South America, USA, UK etc can come back home and quarantine but Australians in India cannot. Poster Moondoong put that very issue and imo he has a point.
