Thanks Voltaire for all your info. Yes I agree the CMC charts are b. awful to work with but maybe I could get them to look a bit better if I knew how. My other charting package is truly excellent for everything else.

I'm inland from mid north coast. I was on the line to bigpond about something else when it just dropped out and I couldn't get back onto them either.

Anyway it is encouraging that you think this is going to bounce up.
