I found the desert minerals announcement highly encouraging for the combatant project, if you look back on their previous announcement from the 26th of Feb I found the Geo's description of what they are looking for quite interesting and he's used terms I understand such as blobs!! haha
Below is what he said about the survey results ... this is where we are currently at, waiting for survey results... what I also find interesting is Pursuit combatant tenement is on the seam of two different terrane and Desert minerals seemed to be focused on the Ni-Cu in the innouendy project to start with so maybe weren't overly confident about PGE in the area, but have now confirmed that it's prospective for PGE aswell in the most recent announcement, it was the irrida hill project that I think they are more bullish about in regards to PGE.
“Ina large airborne EM survey such as this, several isolated late time conductors are exactly what wewant to see Elongated features that extend over many kilometres tend to be caused by individualgeological units Ni Cu mineralisation tends to form more discrete blobs Fundamentally, what wewere hoping for was a handful of discrete red conductors in a sea of non conductive blue and that’sexactly what we have Work by Desert Metals identified this area as prospective several years ago andlicenses were staked at a time when there was no competition for ground We are exactly where wewant to be, and it is extremely encouraging that on a camp scale we have these conductors on theCraton margin It will be exciting to follow these up both with further interpretation of the airbornedata and in the field with ground EM and then drill test them along with our already defined targets atInnouendy and Irrida
I also found this interesting from their AEM survey results for Irrida Hill, and i had noticed it at Julimar, it looks like it may be more the darker the blue near the blob that define the prospectiveness of the intrusion more so than the big blobs themselves...not sure if anyone else has a good grasp on this?
