If the mints are 'running out' as you say, perhaps they could have a chat to the SPDR GLD Fund, because they're selling heaps as goldbugs jump ship.
At the beginning of the year the Fund had 1,190 tonnes, now they're down to 1,018 and it's dropping almost daily.
