There seems to be a lot of magical thinking from some commenters here, but as a mild reality check; suppose you are a government or large corporate customer comparing solutions here, and your due dillegence uncovers this. How likely are you to bring a solution into your organisation that might not be around 18 months from now?
Even if the patent is invalid or lawsuit baseless, the above seems very likely to make larger customers pause and reflect.
Alternatively if the lawsuit goes through, and they negotiate a settlement, this product line is now a lot less profitable.
