I hope the appointment of TO accelerates the timeline for KV to come online.
I have always thought that with 3TW demand by 2030, there was no real rush for LTR to get to market but there is one risk I never fully considered.
If China were to gain control of the Manono project in the DRC, with their fire-power they could very much hurt our prospects if first to market. With control of that project and some of WA's biggest projects, they could flood the market and very much hinder chances of any new entrants.
Now, before everyone bears down on me, there's nothing to indicate progress at Manono and hopefully our FIRB would try block this from happening but it is the DRC and who knows what could happen. Surely, the Chinese also see this.
So, onya bikes boys. Let's get KV to market asap!
