I checked this mine out 18 months ago the cracks were already there.
The roads are narrow and picturesque there are Li mines around but small with the glass blowing shop on the road.
The Spanish mine is basically on the perimeter of a UNESCO medieval fortress town, again with digging crushing trucks etc. I f you are referring to Geothermal extraction in Germany the environmental disruption is minimal vertical silent towers. They are already there producing energy, the lithium is a by product.
Once up and running VUL will be 1st choice, on an economic and environmental basis.
