In laymans terms the Ryhodacite is a light composition volcanic rock if you like. This is like the wet stuff from a volcanoe and typically carries all the precious metals. What happens is their an intrusion, which in this instance is the granite coloured pink and the ryhodacite then if like is trapped, causes a trap something like that which causes the prescious metals to pool. In New Zealand this often shows up in the steam pools where gold appears on the rims of the pools.
Anyway he is of the opion that the top Ryhodacite and any subsequent layers are "likely" to have the same characterstics as they are probably from the same intrusion.
He also explained further info around strip ratios and cut-offs etc I hope this helps and I liked what I was hearing.
