Hi Head,
Drilling under the pit is no problem, it's all about geometry, the right angles if you like.If you step back your drill collar,and you have a rough target, it's just the "angle of the dangle" which comes into play.
The longer the hole the more it costs(drillers are usually paid by the meter).
I believe Icon quoted roughly $100k to dewater the pit.
Drilling costs, ??, its all about economics really.
