Hey aussie,
Good to hear from you, but disagree on a couple of your comments.
The letter that you refer to was only received on the 4th 0f May, and this would not have affected anyone's votes. Again we see Alex leaving this letter to the last minute. Alex also doesn't help his cause like the previous AGM, as he was a apology for the meeting on Friday.
Don't believe that the meeting was a waste of 52 minutes, and was delivered a lot better than the AGM in June. This meeting was only for the replacement of the board, and a lot of news that shareholders what answers to will have to wait for a month or so. Conrad Karageorge did state that the new board will communicate better with shareholders, and they understood that communications with the shareholders was very poor previously.
Additional capital will not be known until they get their noses into what's outstanding on a range of things, etc outstanding debtors, wages, contracts, and loans.
Agree with you that the raising of money is important, and like everyone dilution is a bad word.
Conrad Karageorge stated in the meeting that Alex had softened his stance, as he understood he was being voted out, and there was quite a bit of correspondence between Alex and the new board in the last weeks prior to the vote.
Personally l believe that Alex may stay around as a advisor as he has to much to lose financially. Conrad did state that they will try to work with Alex as he had a lot of connections in Senegal, but as stated by Aussie, the board has a lot of faith in Moudo and the connections he has with the Senegalese government, and that he will play a pivot position moving forward.
l believe that Alex will remove himself from the MGO board without to much issue, and one of the new BSR members will be elected on to it.
Yes the AGM will be close, and probably only a couple of months away, and then we should have a lot of answers to the questions everyone is asking.
Personally l believe this is the only way forward, and this is the only first step in a positive direction.
Where the bloody hell are we at? Will we ever really know?, page-4
