Nah, BAL was screwed by their inability to gain Chinese certification, that and debt were its major issues that meant getting inventory sorted was a major problem, so they discounted heavily, which then caused the daigou to abandon them.
By being up front and writing off $80M A2 maintains it's perception of fresh and premium.
