Hi Street professor. How long will additional supply take?

200mtpa from simandou in 2025 is a big one but a long way off.

Vale should be able to get supply back to normal in the next 6 to 12 months.

The mothballed Chinese mines will be brought back to production progressively over the next couple of years.

So there is additional supply coming but it takes time and the exact time is unpredictable. The last boom saw these sorts of prices hold for a year or two. I hope this boom has the same duration because that gives a lot of time for the Australian miners to make very high profits.
