re: another underperforming quarterly G'day Ricky99
Report says that all indications are that mineralisation extendds beyond 300m depth. Would need somebody with geological skills to deduce any further than that number. To me, indications look good for significant depth beyond 300m. Bill flagged at the presentations earlier this year that they may head underground sooner than initially planned. Open pit mining is great for shallow mineralisation, but has become clear (I think) to AVM taht mineralisation goes very deep. Not worth making the pit any deeper as more and more overburden must be removed in order to go deeper. Better off to go underground and work straight on the ore. The report says that they are expecting to decide on this in September. I have a feeling that Dikulushi will turn out to be a long life mine... what do others think?
