Id agree that dewatering and drilling from inside the Morila pit to Samacline would best be the best approach to fill in the off section between the two.
The potential whale sitting deeper to the west of Samacline would probably be best dug from the surface. The issue I see is FFX probably does not require results from this deposit for a significant portion of time, instead peeling layers in order. It makes sense and it’s probably exactly how Anglo and Randgold prioritized it.
As an investor, I want to know what’s down there ASAP. Significant results would have instant dramatic effects on the SP and the valuation of the project as a whole ... even if actually mining remains a fairly low priority. A few deep drills, I believe Holders would have no issue having funds designated to it... it could turn Morila into the largest mine in Mali ... again
