I like theory's that are speculative not conspiracy theories so here goes my speculative theory:

Probably 2019 the former CEO started to speak about AKIDA technology's green credentials.

In moving to speak about beneficial AI the green credentials were somewhat forgotten however Rob Lincourt alluded to them when discussing the use of AKIDA as a co-processor in a data centre.

Everyone knows about how energy hungry crypto currency mining has been and will be into the future. Even old dinosaurs like myself.

Crypto or should I say blockchain technology has been explored by Professor Iliadis and company at Democratis University of Thrace for cyber security applications and if you want to google you will find references to NASA/DARPA also embracing the potential use of blockchain to create a cyber secure defence and space communication system.

NASA and SpaceX are very much in bed which is very public knowledge.

Out of the blue late last year Elon Musk starts making public his interest in crypto currency. The fact that crypto mining was going to burn the planet with the amount of energy being used was well known then yet out of the blue today we get this shock horror announcement that Elon Musk is worried about the energy being used and is not going to buy anymore. He also makes clear he is not going to sell any of his present crypto which does not mean that the crypto he presently holds will not be continuing to burn energy. So on the one hand he is stating this is terrible and on the other is saying but I will keep being part of the present burning but will not add to it. Why draw attention to your activities then?

Does Elon have a solution in his back pocket which he is going to pull out to save the crypto world? He is after all next to Beros one of the greatest marketers and self promotors of our time.
