Firstly, now I'm curious, as to why you think that's curious.

What I meant by "there's nothing material about it, therefore no specific announcement is to be made", is that NOR simply has nothing to announce concerning metaswitch, notwithstanding any minor aspects of being a 'technology partner'.

I am looking at things as they appear to be. Whereas what you're doing, is reasoning why NOR has not acted in accordance with your fictitious proposition. Can't get much more flawed than that. Burden of proof.

As for analysing word choice, alas you reveal your own ignorance. Statements such as "things are bright in the near term" are a way of conveying concern for the longer term without being alarmist. I have noticed NOR are verbose and careful with their words. Companies doing well don't tend to focus on that stuff.
