May is a dead month for all stocks. Traders take money away, wait for June to load into dividend companies that have been belted from May and then reap the benefits of claiming all franking credits, a share price that has been bought at a low and then sold after dividend ex date. They may get cap gains and div income so best of both worlds.

I've gone into the 4 stocks in my signature fairly hard.3 dividend 1 speccy. I will be buying more probably in the few weeks to come. But I am only holding for the long. Will wait for the sell off to ease

But inflation talks will be a constant talk for sometime. Best buy some commodities...
