What on earth are you talking about ? They are not guaranteed any stock from underwriting the issue, neither will they draw a fee for being underwriter.
They have at least had the decency to make the offer available to all (except a few overseas) shareholders. Obtaining funding remains pretty tight at the junior end. I'm not sure that they could have found underwriters if they had raised at a higher level. With $30m in the tin and a stack of drilling updates to come in the near term, this company will be motoring in the 2nd half of 09.
