I remember BGL well on that sell off, disappointed the market on the highly anticipated DFS from the cost and capex perspective. I was also contemplating the Fib 61.8% retracement at the time, could not bring myself to average down even for a trade! From a chart perspective, all the majors including bigger market cap speckies have something in common: they all are in recovery and there is a solid block of congestion overhead due to the mid-2020 XAUUSD & XAUAUD peaking. DEG is the only one that tested the peaked formed at the time!

Perhaps when the selling is done, those who didn't take this opportunity will regret as hindsight is usually good teacher. I am more interested in risk mitigating based on what I can see today in reference to the time of the year, valuation condition in equity generally, etc.

Personally the BGL experience taught me to be cautious when expecting a key milestone. Probably today is a good wash out of those exuberant target of the MRE and I hope it isn't something nasty. Good luck to us longer term holders.
