From my experience Joe,which is considerable, once the likes of DEG achieves a certain market cap, it will inevitably be trifled with from bankers. They have no scruples or morals. DEG is but a small percentage of their bottom line. If it doesn't perform, it gets the boot. It's not personal, it's just business. Cold yes, but brutally efficient for the bottom line. End of financial year equals separating the wheat from the chaff. Sell in May and go away is the prevalent mantra.
As you've mentioned in one of your recent posts, KISS is a fundamental guideline. Cull the losers and keep the winners.
