man this could go on forever...Im only 48, and must admit all of what you have said has been and gone for me... so does that mean I fit into the "so old" category ... 10channels? geez we had one channel ABC... when I was 13 we got a second channel, GWN, it was like all our Christmas's came at once
time is flying by, that's the problem..
I remember smoking on a plane, in the pubs and clubs, and the restaurants... riding my bike into town, no helmet, 10 years old, parents weren't worried, come home 5 hours later, not a problem.. I remember the days when a penthouse/playboy was the only go to as a teenager to admire the ladies... I remember sucking on Candy Fags as a kid trying to be cool like my dad, now you cant even say Fag, let alone suck on a candy that looks like a cigarette... I remember the days when a boy was a boy, and a girl was a girl... I remember the days when there was only one kind of diesel and petrol at the bowser ... I remember Dad setting up the HZ premier 253 V8 wagon with a mattress for us kids and going to the drive-ins... I remember the days as a kid you could make match box bombs that actually exploded, no such thing as safety matches, they were just matches.. the list could go on and on, and I'm only 48... looks like I have to come to grips and admit that Im "so" old...
