While that Graph does reflect a general trend, it is also quite misleading in that the time-scale is dependent on many variables. I know of one (mid-size Au) mine that went from initial discovery to production in under two years; and yet there are other Projects that despite being financially sound, have been stuck in the Permitting stages for five to ten years.
What we are all hoping for with Pensana is that given the reasonably swift progression thru the discovery and feasibility stages, we might expect a similar time compression during the coming Development stage. Obtaining the necessary finance is now the KEY, and given the now recognized risks of the West NOT developing their own RE-magnet supply chain, one would hope that the UK Government will be doing everything they can to facilitate our BOD's endeavors..
The biggest risk I see at the moment is coming from those various 'Third Parties' who might have ulterior interests in Pensana success, The threat to China's monopoly is an obvious cause for State sanctioned interference. But how many other businesses (Governments ?) are there who might also prefer to see the dirt at Longonjo remain in the ground or under their own control ? We are seeing sentiment attacks on various forums popping up quite regularly now, often backed up with a raid on the Share price. There is not much we as shareholders can do about China other than recognize their sponsored propaganda for what it is. We can however do something to help our BOD fight off Third Party attacks ~ call them out, resist the temptation to sell, keep the Registry tight and reject all / any suggestions that our BOD is not doing a good job.
