Maybe that's a nerdy way of saying, "I ordered my hot sauce an hour ago."



People don't understand the implications behind quantum mechanics, let alone quantum computing. I reckon those working at this company have half a clue about what it all means, and if IBM has invested in one of the ideas, that is a very clear indication to me that there is substance behind what they are doing.

While I may not understand how "temperature" works in relation to putting a qubit into superposition, I do understand that the word has Latin origin, and "tempus" means "time" in Latin. Try and bend your head around that concept. It's very difficult, I know. It goes against everything you (and I) ever understood to be possible in reality as we know it. Well, reality is changing.

The thing is, most people don't care how or why it changes, they just accept that it does. We are all somewhat guilty in this regard. E.g. I don't know how my car's 12 cylinders work, but I know that they do work (and very nicely). Well, actually... to be honest, by 12 cylinders I mean 4... Because 12 divided by 4 is 3, and AXE will be worth $3 within 3 months.... Then I will actually buy a car with 12 cylinders. I reckon the BMW M760i would suit me, with tinted windows, pumping "One Thousand Miles" by Vanessa Carlton whilst driving through Chapel Street on a Tuesday night after work sounds like my kind of scene. I just hope I can find a better looking sheila than the one old mate is with here.
