correct me if im wrong, to find the after rights issue share price in simple terms is this:
before rights issue:
share price: $73
shares on issue: 1b
market cap: $73b
after rights issue:
share price: ?
shares on issue: (21/40)*1b = 1.5b
money raised(21/40)*1b*$28 = $15b
new market cap: $73b+$15b = $88b
$88b = 1.5b* (new share price)
new share price = $58
which it roughly was.
cant explain the drop since then.
i think ill buy.
