Yes it's interesting that it is on the agenda again. I maintain what I and a few others have said. This issue is a furfy in its totality and insults the intelligence of even the most average of investors.
The votes count. The votes always count. The shareholders are in charge. It does not matter who the directors are. If the board was 100% "independent" the message would still be the same from CNP.....52% of teh vote means you do as you are told or you are removed. Simple.
PS: Alternatively you could resign to pursue "other career opportuities" as Avin Lieberman did.
This issue still annoys me. CNP should never have even tabled this concept. Let sleeping dogs lie.
