I only mentioned that the Basel 3 proposal of moving physical gold to a tier 1 asset with 100% NSFR backing as part of it's liquidity standards requires gold to be backed. If you want a comprehensive inventory of which assets can be backed by what under both the NSFR and Capital standards of Basel 3, you are quite welcome to read it yourself. Just google it. I assumed you must have already glanced over it given the elaborate detail you provided regarding the required unallocated and ETF backing of 1:1 and game over? You seemed so sure of yourself?
