Well there was some kind of a hold up in collecting tbe data from the trial participants. Since the recent "Topline Readout" announcement of the Covid ARDS results from MSB, it seems that it must now be available. I presume the detailed raw data would need to be handed over to Novartis representatives who would then give it to their own statisticians and medical analysts to study to see if there were sufficient signs of efficacy to make it worthwhile to do further trials. Until the data gets handed over the time period for Novartis to make a formal decision wouldn't start... which I think was a 90 day extension? Presumably the data was available for a couple weeks already to allow SI time slice and dice it to come up with the announcement. So they could have another couple of months to make up their minds? It's all a bit murky.
