I attended the presentation last night and my take on this point is that the AVZ management is very aware of why the sp is relatively low. In addition, they spoke about the 16 million man/woman, the 2 share trades, forcing an artificially low day end close when the day's VWAP is higher, etc. and advised that they are submitting a formal complaint with ASIC. The notion that the 16 million at 99.5 cents is being placed so that these shares cannot be borrowed by the broker for shorting was also debunked.
