Re to subject : Abbott didn't exactly lift a finger to stop the industry leaving either, yes it had been in decline for a while but why didn't he make a half decent effort instead of letting his Treasurer basically dared them to leave? Now supposedely we want manufacturing but Liberals couldn't give a stuff about it back then. I'd hardly call that insightful, I'd call it damned stupid and short sighted.
As I see it, poor Government is a problem regardless of pursuasion. The more Pollies play politics the worse off we are.
