It's actually worse than that, MUCH worse.

Assay houses are so swamped with work that what used to take a month or less is now blown out the window of total unpredictability - anybodies guess when to expect results is guaranteed to be wrong.

This is important because some use results to plan future drilling and of course, whether or not the investment is sound.

Harder to train a pilot to assay ore than to operate heavy machinery.
